Nupe of the Month!

 

For November 2025, Brother Steven C. Carnes has been named Nupe of the Month in recognition of his unwavering commitment, steadfast support, and invaluable contributions to the Chapter and Foundation initiatives.

Since his initiation into our noble Bond, Brother Carnes has consistently embodied the spirit and ideals of Achievement in Every Field of Human Endeavor through his actions, leadership, and dedicated service to the Fraternity and the communities we serve.

Brother Carnes is a Spring 1985 initiate of the Tuskegee University Chapter, the Gamma Epsilon (ΓΕ) of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. He is a proud graduate of Tuskegee University, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering. Professionally, Brother Carnes serves as a Technical Customer Success Manager at Dell Inc.

A true servant-leader, Brother Carnes is a two-time Past Polemarch of the Maywood-Wheaton (IL) Alumni Chapter—serving as the 13th and 15th Polemarch—and has also served 12 years on the North Central Province Board of Directors.

​

He currently serves as the Chapter’s Technology Chairman and Webmaster, ensuring that MWAC’s digital presence and communication platforms remain effective and innovative.
