Diamond Youth Foundation (DYF)

A 501 (c) (3) not-for-profit organization

Is the philanthropic arm of the Maywood-Wheaton Alumni Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc.  It is a separate non-profit, tax exempt, publically supported organization and is comprised of college educated professional men dedicated to serving youth in the Western Suburbs of Chicago, through our Guide Right Mentoring Program and Scholarships. The DYF Advisory Board is an elite group of Community Leaders and advocates. 

The DYF has provided scholarships and special assistance to youth in the Western Suburbs of Chicago since its establishment in 1976.  Their mission is to increase student awareness of potential career choices through exposure to a variety of disciplines, role models and mentoring. The Foundation also provides scholarship assistance and direction to high achieving students pursuing a baccalaureate degree from accredited institutions. The Foundation generates revenue to support these mentoring and scholarship programs.
