The Brothers of MWAC are conducting a Room To Read at an elementary school in our community.
Principal, Mr. Javon Cotton of Lincoln Elementary School has agreed to partner with Maywood-Wheaton (IL) Alumni Chapter by inviting us to facilitate our "Room to Read" event at their school for students in the K-5th grades.
Make a Difference on World Education Day!
On January 24, 2025, Kappa Alpha Psi is excited to partner with Room to Read for a nationwide celebration of World Education Day. We’re calling on brothers across the country to participate in a National Day of Reading in their communities. Join us by reading to students, donating books, and promoting educational equity at a local elementary school of your choice. This initiative offers a unique opportunity for Kappa Alpha Psi to strengthen our commitment to literacy, community engagement, and support for underserved schools.
