NATIONAL MEN'S HEALTH WEEK, JUNE 9-15, 2025

Dear Brothers,

As we continue to lead in our families and communities, it is vital that we also lead in our own health and well-being.

June 9–15, 2025 is National Men’s Health Week, a powerful reminder that strong men stay strong by taking charge of their health. For Black men in particular, the risks for conditions like heart disease, diabetes, prostate cancer, and high blood pressure are higher — but with knowledge and action, we can change the narrative.

💪 Key Health Priorities for Us:

Heart Health: High blood pressure and stroke hit us harder — regular screenings and exercise matter.
Prostate Health: Black men have a higher risk of prostate cancer — talk to your doctor about screening by age 45.
Mental Health: Prioritize your peace. Therapy, support, and rest are strengths, not weaknesses.
Diabetes Prevention: Watch your numbers — diet and lifestyle can prevent or manage Type 2 diabetes.

👟 What You Can Do This Week:

Schedule a check-up or screening.
Move your body — walk, lift, dance, stretch.
Start a health conversation with a brother.
Wear blue on Friday, June 13, 2025 for Men’s Health Awareness and share your support on social media.

Let’s lead by example — in service, scholarship, and strength. This week, take a step for your health. We rise together.

Yours in the Bond,

Brother Jules Reynolds
